He was born on an naval base in Okinawa, Japan and was raised in Hampden, Maine. He now lives in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania with his wife Sharon who owns her own real   estate company and is also the seminar appointment coordinator. He has a son Nicholas, who is attending Penn State University while studying Finance.  John has over 30 years’  experience in the finance including 21 years working for Citigroup Investment Banking on Wall Street and is  also a U.S. Army veteran.  John enjoys acting in local theater; is an adventurous traveler, and enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren.
